Issue/Introduction

When attempting to run a command through the ECLI to a Windows-based AE instance, the command submission fails and the error returned says...
"Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer"

Environment

WCC 11.3.6/11.4/12.0
Service Pack: Any
AE Environment: 11.3.x/12.0 Windows

Resolution

The user sent to the AE server as part of the ECLI command submission must have interactive logon permission on the AE Windows server. The user sent with the command will be either WCC user or a credential user for the AE server if one has been specified in the "Credentials" tab.

Additional Information

Navigate to Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights Assignments

Add the user to "Allow logon locally"
