Issue/Introduction

Will  Web Viewer 14.0  (Content Viewer 14.10) run on any other platform other than USS?

Resolution

No, there are no such plans. The server has to run on the same system where the View databases are since it uses the View Agents to access them - and currently that is only on z/OS. That's why CCI and DRAS are no longer needed with Web Viewer 14.0.  This was done to improve performance.  So Web Viewer 14.0 will not run on z/Linux or any platform other than USS.
