Issue/Introduction

The CA-AMS Sender Daemon do not start  after stop/start od WAAE using unisrvcntr stop/start CA-WAAE.

Environment

WORKLOAD AUTOMATION AE, Release: 11.3, Service Pack: SP1, Operating System: Linux

Resolution

CA-AMS Sender Daemon is for alert actions and is not needed if you are not using those actions and can deregister to remove from list

Deregister the CA-alert component using:

unisrvcntr register -D CA-alert

The CA-alert component is always installed with UNIX event agents whether
you installed AEC or not. I believe that this is to support any ALERT
actions that may be defined in Message Records and Actions downloaded by the Event Agent. As long as you are sure that there are no ALERT actions that will be executed on this Event Agent, you can deregister the CA-alert component to prevent caamssend from ever running.

Apply test fix similar T5T7006 to prevent the CA-AMS Sender Daemon from
starting on a system reboot (or if you start NSM with "unistart
UnicenterNSM").
