How do I determine what Policyset is currently be used by the CA Compliance Event Manager Monitor task CEMMON?

Environment

Release:
Component: CEVM

Resolution

The F CEMMON,STATUS console command can be used to display the Monitor Component Status which includes the current active Policyset.

The CEMMON started task JCL contains a CEMEPARM DD statement to specify the input dataset, which contains the MONITOR Component Control Options in PDS member named by &MEMBER which defaults to CEMMPRM.  The Monitor Component CEMMPRM Member contains the POLICYSET control options:

POLICYSET=policyset

Specifies the component policy set name, which is defined in the event policy database and which is used to select security events for component processing. The value specified is case-sensitive.

The F CEMMON,STATUS console command can be used to display the Monitor Component Status which includes the current active Policyset. The following is a sample of the Monitor component output resulting from the STATUS command(note the Active Policy Set in BOLD):
