Free and remove the 49 million lines in CAIMSG DD in the CTS proc

Issue/Introduction

My JES spool is getting full.  Do I need to stop/start CTS? Is there some command I can issue to free the CAIMSG dataset, so that I can delete it? If I must stop/start CTS, will this cause a problem with my tape processing?

Resolution

Issue the following command from the console:

F CTS,SPINOFF,LOG *

This will spin the output to JES as CTS.  Purge the output from the JES queue.
