Updating user properties for external users

Issue/Introduction

Would like to know how to change the real name and email in the Harvest database for a user that is designated as "External Authentication". I tried unchecking of box as “External Authentication”but still no luck. 

Environment

CA Harvest SCM all versions and platforms

Resolution

For externally authenticated users in Harvest, all the user details are maintained on the LDAP server and not in the Harvest database. Every time Harvest synchronizes with the LDAP server, the data gets refreshed in Harvest, but there is not a way to override the information coming from the LDAP server inside the Harvest database.
