Issue/Introduction

By default, the Provisioning Manager for Unix V2 endpoints filters out accounts with a User ID (UID) below 100, as these are typically considered built-in or system accounts.

This occurs because the "Maximum UID" setting acts as a threshold for excluding these accounts from the standard account list.

Identity Manager 14.x

Cause

The Unix V2 connector utilizes a "Maximum UID" parameter defined as the "Exclude Built-in" threshold. When this value is set to the default of 100, any account with a UID less than 100 is treated as a system account and hidden from the Provisioning Manager display.

Resolution

To display accounts with a UID less than 100, you must adjust the endpoint configuration to include the desired UID range.

1. Log in to the Provisioning Manager.
2. Search for and select the specific Unix V2 endpoint.
3. Navigate to the General 1 tab.
4. Locate the Maximum UID field and change the value (default 100) to your required lower threshold (e.g., 0).
5. Perform an Explore and Correlate action to refresh the account list.
