Issue/Introduction

How can I check on my system how many times CA-Allocates were used in the past 6 months?

Resolution

There isn't an actual report that can be run to see how many times the product has been run. CA Allocate does have facilities to create SMF records for:
- completed EOV recovery of data sets, and...
- completed RTF [Reduce To Fit] recovery of a data set.

CA Allocate does not provide an SMF reporting facility.
