Issue/Introduction

Clients have business requirements to be PCI complient.
One of the requirements is to mask of not use REAL IP address information.

We have a business need to mask/hide the real IP address of robot
in order to meet our PCI X.XX requirements.
Can we use the robot_alias to do this?

Environment

UIM 9.X and earlier

Resolution

UIM is not PCI compliant.

Currently, there is no way to mask/hide the REAL IP of robot or hubs in the UIM environment.
The robot has a robotip_alias  key field but this is used when NAT is being used between the robot and hub.
It can not be used to mask/hide the real IP when NAT is not in use.
