Issue/Introduction
Here are the steps to remove the ability to create a new service request in service catalog, but leave the existing cases in place so they can be updated and reviewed.

Resolution
A method to prevent the creation of new Service Requests involves setting the "Unavailable After" date on the Service Offerings you no longer wish to use. If you wish to apply this to multiple Service Offerings you can assign this to the folder, and all Service Offerings within the folder will become unavailable (and therefore you cannot create Service Requests).
