Client Automation - How to speed up the opening of DSM GUI

Open of DSM GUI could take several seconds during retrieving data steps.

Example :
Retrieving AM portal data
Retrieving SD portal data

How to speed up the opening of DSM GUI ?

Several SQL queries are executed during "Retrieving data steps" in order to collect data to display in the ITCM portal.

If there are a lot of data to retrieve (eg: a lot of jobs in error), it could take time to retrieve all data.

If display of these data in ITCM portal is not used, it could be removed :


1- In System Status, click on the edit button on the top left :



2- Uncheck the data which are not needed.

3- click again the edit button on the top left in order to save the modifications.

Remark :


This settings in stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry key on the machine with DSM Explorer.
So this should be repeated for every remote console and for different logged users.
