This is a technical document to describe if it is possible to integrate multiple OU´s from an LDAP Integration into CA Spectrum.

Can CA Spectrum support multiple OU´s (organizational unit) in a direct integration with LDAP via the OneClick Administration LDAP Configuration page?

Resolution

If you have multiple OU´s you will not be able to add them directly to the LDAP Search pattern as this is not supported by CA Spectrum.

You can either:

1. choose a higher base directory that the multiple OU´s are below and enable “Search Subdirectories” or
2. if this is not possible due to the organization infrastructure, you can configure a new OneClick server and integrate each specific OU directly, one per each OneClick server.
