USS Permissions incorrect with shipping USS element

Issue/Introduction

When USS files are transmitted through Endevor Package Ship to the remote site, the permissions do not allow the programs to be executed.

How are USS permissions defined on host staging USS files ?

MVS/OMVS

Resolution

There is no logic to set the Unix permissions on USS files during package ship. Use a post ship script to modify the permissions at the remote target (CHMOD).
