Is it okay to disable the Software Metering/Software Usage agent (amswmagtw plugin) on endpoints?

Environment

Client Automation (ITCM) -- any version

Resolution

Yes, it is fine to disable the amswmagtw plugin, without any adverse impact to the AM agent plugin.  Just don't expect future software usage monitoring tasks to work!

You can deliver a script to endpoints in the environment that runs the following two commands:
caf disable amswmagtw
caf stop amswmagtw
