Unable to cut, paste or delete UIM models in Spectrum
When a model in Spectrum is associated with a VHM model, it seems to remove the ability to copy and paste in TopOrg and World views. Right clicking on the model has the cut and copy menu option disabled. The view we are trying to copy from is Universe view to TopOrg View and World View. When right clicking on the model in the Universe view, the copy menu is disabled. Has anyone else seen this problem ?
In Spectrum OneClick, the right-click options for Delete, Cut, or Copy appear disabled or grayed out for certain device models.
We are experiencing an issue with discovered servers (ESX hosts). They are appearing as duplicates, with one showing an active ping and the other showing as "Lost" for it's state. We want to remove the duplicate record that is marked as "Lost". When we right click on the model to be deleted, the Delete option is greyed out and not selectable. The Copy option is also not selectable. The right click menu options like this.

This is Functioning As Designed. Device models discovered in Spectrum through the UIM integration, or discovered via VHM functionality, are under the systems control. As a result these options are purposely disabled by default.
Models synchronized from UIM are protected by an internal integration flag to prevent manual deletions that would be overwritten by the next synchronization cycle.
This protection is controlled by the EditModesMask attribute.
To enable modification or deletion of these models, change the EditModesMask attribute value.
EditModesMask (attribute ID 0x130cc).0.The Delete and Cut options will now be available in the right-click menu.
Note: For specific privilege levels:
224: Enables Copy and Paste.223: Enables Cut.0: Enables full privileges, including Delete. For broad cleanup of duplicate models, use the Locater tab to search for devices by creation date to identify and remove stale records in bulk.
To modify the attribute value for multiple devices at once, first use the Locator to search for the devices using a common value. Multi-select the ones to be modified. Right click on the selected models and open the Attribute Editor. Use this to set the value for the selected models at once.
