ITAM - Availability of SAML / ADFS SSO Solution

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible for ITAM by itself to be configured to accept SAML based SSO authentication using ADFS IdP for single sign on?

Is an alternative solution like OKTA SSO supported?

Environment

CA IT Asset Manager (all versions)

Resolution

ITAM itself does not have any configurations to accept SAML based authentication using ADFS IdP for single sign on. 

To allow this, the CA SSO (formerly SiteMinder) product would be needed to perform the integration. 

CA Single Sign On/Siteminder is the only mechanism that accepts the SAML/ADFS based authentication

Alternative solutions like OKTA SSO are not currently supported
