core file created from cdm

Issue/Introduction

Received the following alarm from a robot in the UIM domain:

Alarm Details :
The following new core file was found: /var/opt/crash/core-cdm-sig6-user7778-group7778-pid1523-time1537192977
The core file was caused by process "cdm"

What caused the cdm probe to core dump?

Environment

UIM Server:  8.51
cdm:  5.80
robot:  7.80
OS:  Linux Red Hat 7.3 64-bit

Cause

cdm probe versions prior to the 6.30 release are not certified for use on Linux RH 7 operating systems

Resolution

1.  Delete the cdm probe from the Linux robot
2.  Delete the probe directory and its contents from the Linux robot
3.  Deploy the 6.30 (or later) cdm probe
