Populate the Resource Manager Input Control in the Capacity vs Demand by Resource report

Issue/Introduction

The Resource Manager Input Control populates the Resource Manager in the Clarity Jaspersoft Capacity vs Demand by Resource and other stock reports. This filter requires Clarity resources to have certain permissions and will not display anything in the system unless permissions are granted.

Why are you not able to populate the Resource Manager Input Control in the Capacity vs Demand by Resource and other stock reports?

Environment

Release: All Supported
Component: Clarity Jaspersoft

Resolution

Configure the Resource Manager Input Control using the steps below
(Out of the Box (OOTB) configuration does not account for any custom rights process)

1. Create the Clarity user
2. Grant the below Clarity Rights:
   • Advanced Reporting - Navigate
   • Resource - Navigate
   • Resource - View right to see Resource/Role at Instance Level
3. Run the LDWH Access Rights job
4. Run Capacity vs. Demand by Resource report and check the Populate Resource Manager check box to populate Resource Managers list
