Issue/Introduction

These are the steps to clear Apache Tomcat server temp files on the Clarity Advanced Reporting Server (Jaspersoft Report Server) is deployed. It is not guaranteed that Apache Tomcat Server temp and work directories are cleaned up on a regular basis. This may depend on your environment and settings, although most systems do some cleanup from time to time.

Resolution

Here are steps to clear Apache Tomcat Server temp and work directories:

1. Stop the application server (Apache Tomcat Server), on which JRS is deployed.
2. Clear the application server (Apache Tomcat Server) 'temp' directory.
3. Clear the application server (Apache Tomcat Server) 'work' directory.
4. Start the Apache Tomcat Server, on which JRS is deployed.
