Issue/Introduction

A Rest-API connection is still existing after a search was executed within the CA Automic Web Interface (AWI) although the user has already logged off from the system.
As soon as a user starts a search in AWI a "REST API" connection is opened (besides of the existing AWI connection).
But as soon as the user logs out, only the AWI connection is closed and the "REST API" is kept open.
Further login and further search leads to increasing number of open REST API connections (while the AWI connections are always closed after logout).
It needs some minutes before the REST API connections are closed, so if the user's number of parallel sessions is limited, the user might not be be able to re-login directly after logout.

The user will then get the following error:

"Logon error: Access denied"

Environment

N/A

Cause

A problem has been fixed where a user could not log into the AWI when the number of maximum parallel connections is set to 1, and a REST API connection is active.
