API Portal: Receiving Email Notifications of Portal Integration Software Updates Available

Issue/Introduction

• Why am I receiving emails with subject lines such as the following?
  • Version UTC.20180622.1200.00 of the Portal integration software is available

Environment

• CA API Developer Portal ("Portal") 4.2.x series in all deployment types.

Resolution

• This is an expected function of the Portal. This functionality allows administrative users of the Portal to be aware of new updates to the Portal integration components.
• There is no way to turn these email notifications off at this time, however CA Engineering is discussing possible changes to the behaviour of this functionality.
