Resolution

PTF RO73594 added a new Delta Objects feature. The Delta Objects provide the capability to compare the data present in the logs or capture files of any Source Object with the current value to see how it varies over time. If the needed customization (see HOLDADATA of PTF) is not done, then the above error messages are displayed. The following steps show how to enable the Delta Objects function and how to make factory-supplied Delta Objects available to users.
1. Allocate the DELTADEF library as an FB 80 PDS or PDSE. The default name is (%%DSNPFX%%.DELTADEF). Use the ALLOCDEL step of the J01DELTA job in the CCTUSAMP library.
2. Run the COPYDELT step of the J01DELTA configuration job in the CCTUSAMP library to copy the factory-defined Delta Objects to the DELTADEF data set. All factory-defined Delta Objects have an internal name starting with D99.
3. Specify Vkgparm DELTADEF with the name of your Delta Objects definition data set created in the prior step. The default DSN is: (%%DSNPFX%%.DELTADEF) If your DSN does not follow this pattern, specify the complete DSN with this Vkgparm that you allocated.
