Issue/Introduction


Installed 12.6 of EEM on a RHEL 7 machine and was working ok until we tried to import the LDIF from our existing Windows based 12.51

Company policy restrict for no non-root uses to bind to ports below 1000.

Need to find out how to change the existing configuration to use port 8509 instead of 509?

Resolution

You need to edit “address” and “snmp” fields in $(DXHOME)/config/knowledge/itechpoz.dxc file to assign a new port.
