• SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

When using option 4 - MESSAGES from the Sysview Performance Management Option for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) main menu, 
the following message was displayed:

DBG55069I No items of type recorded

The same thing happens with these options:
3  Exception, 4 Utility and 5 DB2 Command within DB2 messages panel

Resolution

To view messages in IDB2 option 4, the following sysparm CALL-GSS= needs to be turned on from CALL-GSS=NO to CALL-GSS=YES
