Running the wcc_config command results in the following error:
wcc_config.sh -u ejmcommander -p <password> -x /tmp/wcc.out
Logging in as 'ejmcommander' - FAILED E190605 - User 'ejmcommander' does not have access for application 'Configuration'.
ALL
This issue is caused by the lack of appropriate EEM policy permissions to allow the user to access the WCC Configuration application.
1) Log on to EEM, selecting the WCC application
2) Navigate to Manage Access Policies tab
3) Select ApplicationAccess from the Access Policies
4) You can either create a new policy, or add your user/group to an existing policy
5) Select Configuration for the user to gain access
Note: below example shows a user belonging to a group called testgrp that was missing the permission to result in the error E190605 described above
Make sure appropriate Application group / Global group / user has permission granted to the Configuration access like indicated for testgrp in the screen print above.
6) Save the policy
7) Go to the Configure Tab, select Session and click on Synchronize Cache
You can now run the command successfully:
wcc_config.sh -u ejmcommander -p <password> -x /tmp/wcc.out
