- We would like assistance in determining the correct path to take to migrate the VAIM Domain Server.

Component:
Resolution
- Backup aom2 and dpm databases from VAIM SQL Server and then remove these databases from SQL Server.
- Backup the C:\ProgramData\CA\SM folder.
- Install VAIM on new SQL2012 Server using SAME Hostname (mandatory) and IP Address (recommended).
- VAIM will create empty aom2 and dpm databases on SQL Server during installation.
- After installation stop all VAIM Services and restore both aom2 and dpm databases to SQL.
- Restore Backup C:\ProgramData\CA\SM folder.
