Issue/Introduction

After configuring Visualizer over SSL, login page loads but with "Error while getting role" error message and unable to login

Cause

Problem may be due to mismatching hostname/url through configuration files.

Resolution

Adjusted the %NXROOT%\bopcfg\www\CATALINA_BASE_VIZ\webapps\CMDBVisualizer\WEB-INF\classes\com\ca\cmdbvisualizer\config\cmdbvisualizerconfig.properties to adjust the wsdl url to be fully qualified domain name instead of just host name. This matched the hostname in the url being used to access Service Desk. Also ensured that url was configured for SSL.
