Issue/Introduction

Problem:
Error message in the logs
E03020570: Database contraint violation [CA Harvest SCM][ODBC 20101 driver][Oracle]ORA-00001: unique constraint (HARVEST.HARPACKAGE_PK) violated SQLSTATE=43

 

Migration from CA Harvest SCM (Software Change Manager) 12.6 to CA Harvest SCM 13.0

After some testing the migration should be done from Testing environment to the production environment.
The same data was needed in both environment so database was created from a backup testing database to a new database for production.
Migration was done, new broker was set in Administrator Tab and Workbench.

If a new package was created the following error occured in the logs:

Environment

Ca Harvest Software Change Manager R13.0
SQL Database

Resolution

Substaining Engineering provided reset_sequences.sql to clean up the database problem.
Before customer send us some analysis which was leaded by SE too.
