CA PIM: Internal error or invalid string on selang

Issue/Introduction

If CAWIN is not installed correctly, we will see the following error on selang and Japanese is not showed correctly.
 

Environment

Linux
CA PIM Endpoint All versions

Cause

Because CAWIN is not installed correctly.

Resolution

In Linux box:
If CAWIN is not installed correctly, there may be no cai18n directory in /opt/CA/SharedComponents.
Also, please check $SEOSDIR/data/CAWIN/cawin_log_file.

To install CAWIN again:
# CAI18N_APP_NAME=eAC
# export CAI18N_APP_NAME
# $SEOSDIR/data/CAWIN/CAI18N.Linux.sh


 

Additional Information

$SEOSDIR : the installation directory of PIM Endpoint
