UMP 'CM_CONFIG_ITEM_TO_MASTER.master_id' is invalid error in Opening UMP web Portal

Issue/Introduction

UMP(USM) is unusable with the following error. Other portlets are working.

Details: com.firehunter.ump.exceptions.DataFactoryException :
Column 'CM_CONFIG_ITEM_TO_MASTER.master_id' is invalid in the select list because it is not contained in either an aggregate function or the GROUP BY clause.

Environment

- UIM 8.x or 9.x

Cause

Robot was not attached to the Primary hub. It was attached to a different/secondary hub.

Resolution

The UMP machine was no longer attached to the Primary hub. It could not be moved to the Primary without error using IM.

On the file system, restore the original robot.cfg which did point to the Primary Hub.

1. Stopped the UMP robot watcher service.
2. Restored the original robot.cfg which pointed to the Primary hub not the secondary

Once the robot.cfg was restored, then started, we logged in to UMP and USM loaded without error.

OR

If you find UMP robot under secondary hub, manually move the robot back to the Primary hub.
To prevent UMP robot from automatically moving to a secondary hub, uncheck the "Search the subnet for a temporary hub when primary and secondary hubs are unavailable" option in controller probe config of UMP robot.

 

If you find license keys have expired, install new license keys, restart nimsoft service on the Primary hub and UMP robot.
