Does Spectrum support getbulk for snmp? VNM.OUT shows Recovered from possible SNMP throttling deadlock.

Issue/Introduction

The Host_SystemEDGE VCAIM configuration has thousands and thousands of vms.  Spectrum needs to query multiple tables and process thousands of entries to keep status up to date.  Spectrum uses standard SNMP get-next which isn't as efficient as getbulk.  Is there a way to enable get-bulk in Spectrum so that it won't overwhelm the SystemEdge agent and/or back up Spectrum?

Resolution

Spectrum does not support getbulk. Broadcom engineering has created an enhancement in the backlog (US528377) to consider supporting getbulk in a future release.
