What is the Gener/OL SGTLIBP used for and do all regions have to have Read/Write access to it?

Resolution

SGTLIBP is a Gener/OL library used only for Gener/OL Utility patch updates.

The Gener/OL STATUS Utility program tracks the maintenance applied to your current Gener/OL system.

Patches against the internal-modules update the STATUS Utility automatically. However, Gener/OL Utility patches must be manually updated through the STATUS Utility and placed on the VSAM file SGTLIBP. Therefore, the only time SGTLIBP would need to have Read/Write access would be when you manually update through the STATUS Utility.
