Issue/Introduction

This article explains where to find and download the Datacom Server solutions for Windows and Linux.

Environment

Release:  ALL
Component:  Datacom Server Windows and Linux

Resolution

1. Sign in to Broadcom Support portal.
2. Select Mainframe Software/My Downloads 
3. Scroll down until you see Datacom Server MVS 
4. Click on the Solutions tab 
5. Click on the Release 
6. In Select OS , use the appropriate operating system, WINDOWS-ALL or LINUX-ALL. 

The highest numbered PTF should always be chosen over previous versions.

In Server Version 15.1 and above, every Windows PTF comes with an installer.

Windows PTFs are cumulative, such that, the highest numbered PTF includes the most recent maintenance to the DLLs, EXEs or JAR file along with all prior maintenance. Linux PTFs provide the JAR file with all prior maintenance to the JAR file. Therefore, the highest numbered PTF should always be chosen over previous versions.

Linux PTFs provide the JAR file with all prior maintenance to the JAR file.
