Issue/Introduction

We have configured the axa_log_gateway probe for some hubs and we see the hub queue grows and is not processing messages.  The axa_log_gateway log shows this message:
Error while subscribing to LOG_ANALYTICS_LOGS

The hubs and kafka servers are geographically dispersed.

Resolution

If there are network latency issues between the location of the hub and the location of the kafka servers then this could cause the queues to disconnect.
One possible option is to co-locate the hub and kafka server in the same geographical location in order to try and reduce such network latency.
