The client deleted the original pax file in the USS directory and uploaded it again as binary. Then the pax file could be unpaxed.
The client could also consider using the BPXBATCH utility program documented in the Intertest and Symdump r 11 installation guide. But the pax installation file must still be uploaded BINARY into the USS directory.
