Issue/Introduction

If encountering the following error while creating monitors, what can I check?

“1060: Bandwidth allowance of <# of KB> per check exceeded, please reduce check interval”

Current ASM environment

Resolution

1. Try increasing the "delay between checks" setting of the Monitor.  Increasing the delay between checks will decrease the monthly bandwidth usage of the monitor.

2. If the above does not work, double check the size of the page you are monitoring as there is a maximum page size per check.  

Some images, especially sliding images, can result in a page being much larger than it needs to be and cause the monitor to exceed the single check bandwidth limit.
