What are the basic differences between CA Roscoe BTSO and CA Roscoe ETSO?
Release:
Component: ROSCOE
The difference between CA Roscoe BTSO and CA Roscoe ETSO, is that BTSO creates a separate address space each time an application is executed, as the application developer intended.
You can execute resource-intensive programs like SAS or File-Aid without impacting your Roscoe system.
CA Roscoe ETSO will utilize the same address space and limit the application you can utilize when utilizing space allocations.
NOTE: A program executing under BTSO does not have access to the CA Roscoe libraries or to the CA Roscoe AWS.
