Resolution

To back up your Clarity database, open a case with Broadcom Support, and provide the following details:

  • (Mandatory) Environment URL
  • Requested database backup date

Note: Broadcom retains backups for the last 7 days, which are programmatically deleted. This is by default stored using the nightly recurring backup generated every 24 hours, and consists of a full backup of all customer data and configurations.

  • Retention period - 30, 60 and 90 days.

Additional Information

As referenced in Clarity PPM SaaS Service Description, we maintain up to 5 customer defined recovery points.

Backups created are retained for the amount of days of the retention folder.
30-day folder backups are automatically deleted after 30 days.
60-day folder backups are automatically deleted after 60 days.
90-day folder backups are automatically deleted after 90 days.
