Does CSM (MSM) r5.1 support Passphrase security?

Issue/Introduction

I would like to know if Passphrase is supported to logon to CSM (MSM) r5.1.

Does CSM (MSM) r5.1 support Passphrase security?

Environment

- Supported z/OS level- CA CSM (MSM) r5.1

Resolution

Passphrase security is not currently supported in CSM (MSM) r5.1.  If an external security product (e.g. ACF2, Top Secret, or RACF) is used which allows Password and Passphrase security, the CSM (MSM) r5.1 product should be configured to use Password security.  Also please note that the CSM (MSM) r5.1 End of Service date is September 30, 2017.
