Issue/Introduction

In ITCM Reporter there are duplicates folders like :
 

Computers
DSM Infrastructure
Hardware
etc...

Environment

Client Automation 12.9, 14.0, 14.0 SP1, 14.0 SP2

Cause

This problem could occur when :

• ITCM Reporter is installed on a new machine

and

• Spanish language is set. Following command returns esn :

ccnfcmda -cmd GetParameterValue -ps itrm/common/localization -pn language
 

 

In this case the reports template are imported in database and this generates duplicate report folders and templates 

 

The problem does not occur in French, German and Japanese language because translation rep_tpl_res file exists for these languages under DSM\bin :

but the file rep_tpl_res.es does not exist.

Resolution

The workaround is to create the registry key SkipLibrary of type REG_DWORD and value 1 under
 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ComputerAssociates\Unicenter ITRM\Generador de informes\Funciones
 

as post installation of ITCM Reporter on a new machine.

It is possible to create this registry key in command line with :
 

 

reg ADD "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ComputerAssociates\Unicenter ITRM\Generador de informes\Funciones" /v SkipLibrary /d 1 /f /t REG_DWORD
