Installing CA RS 1808: GIM38201E SMP/e error occurs

Issue/Introduction

Trying to upgrade from CA RS 1807 to 1808 while the test apar ST04086 is applied results in the following SMP/e errors:
 
GIM38201E ** THERE IS A MODID ERROR FOR MOD ENTRY EZGENRPT IN SYSMOD SO01219. 

GIM31901I SYSMOD SO01219 DOES NOT SPECIFY ST04086 ON THE PRE OR SUP OPERAND. ST04086 IS THE RMID FOR MOD EZGENRPT 

Environment

CA Easytrieve Report Generator release 11.6

Resolution

The correction that was provided by ST04086 is incorporated in the CA RS 1808 solutions. 
Here are the following SMP/E commands to remove ST04086:

REJECT SELECT ( ST04086 ) 
BYPASS(APPLYCHECK) . 
RESTORE SELECT( ST04086 ) . 

Then, the CARS 1808 solutions should install without a problem related to ST04086.
 
Alternative solution is to reinstall the product via CSM without the ST04086.
