Issue/Introduction

Getting errors when attempting to access any of the Asset Viewer functionalities, ie: 

Asset Viewer - Discovered Information

Asset Viewer - Owned Information

All attempts to access these resources within ITAM shows an invalid URL link (server name instead of FQDN)

Currently AMS gets installed via 3 different host applications, UAPM, USD and DSM.

It is not uncommon for a machine to have multiple copies of AMS running, each on a different port (relative to the host application configuration).

To enable running AMS from within UAPM to another server, the Asset Viewer Path needs to be set with the server name and port you would like to point to. (See section 4 in below image) "Choose your Asset Viewer (AMS) settings".

In later releases of IT Asset Manager, the above setting can be accessed by logging into ITAM as the uapmadmin or an admin level user.  Go into the Administration tab, then System Configuration, then CA Common Asset Viewer:
