Issue/Introduction

I'm trying to APPLY some PTF's for CA-Vantage v14.  I am going through the CARS process so I don't have a lot of PTF's to install at one time.  I've been progressing OK until this last CARS. 

GIM54701E ** ALLOCATION FAILED FOR CCTUZFS - IKJ56228I PATH /CA/cai/cvanr14m0/Vantage/dist/ NOT IN CATALOG OR CATALOG 
CAN NOT BE ACCESSED. 
GIM28307E ** ALLOCATION FAILED FOR CCTUZFS, WHICH IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PROCESS ELEMENT VANJREST IN SYSMOD SO04038. 
GIM22601I APPLY PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD SO04038. 
GIM30219E ** APPLY PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD SO05029. PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD SO04038, WHICH WAS SPECIFIED ON 
THE ++VER PRE OPERAND.

As the CTUZFS has been physically deleted so in your case using CSM, the easiest way is to delete all including OMVS path and reinstall the product.
It will go quicker and you can also in the same time install the maintenance.
To prevent ZFS file deletion not forget to define this ZFS file into your SYS1.PARMLIB(BPXPRMxx) member to mount the file at IPL.
