If xFlow is not installed in SDM, why does the workflow manager still start?

Environment

Resolution

There is no need for Workflow Manager to start if xFlow is not installed.

A work around is to adjust the NX_ROOT/pdmconf/pdm_startup and NX_ROOT/pdmconf/pdm_startup.tpl files to resolve this. 

1) Backup those two files before modifying them

2) In the original files, look for: 
pdm_wfmgr_nxd 
#if NX_XFLOW_INSTALLED==Yes 
pdm_hw_nxd 
pdm_es_search_nxd 
#endif 

3) Modify it to look like: 
#if NX_XFLOW_INSTALLED==Yes 
pdm_wfmgr_nxd 
pdm_hw_nxd 
pdm_es_search_nxd 
#endif 

4) Save the files.

5) Restart SDM. 

The Workflow manager daemon will only start if xFlow is installed. This can be done on all the SDM servers.

CA will resolve this for a future release via defect (DE44049)
