How do you create a dashboard for CPU metrics

Issue/Introduction

I have an urgent need to pull some performance reports and I cannot find how to see CPU utilization in chart form.

Resolution

To quickly create a CPU metric dashboard  for a device you can do the following:

1. Create a new dashboard
2. Add the IM On-Demand/Multi-Metric Trend Report
3. Now edit the IM On-Demand/Multi-Metric Trend Report view

• Change "View Type" to Table per Item with Multiple Metrics
• Change "Context" to Fixed
• Add the appropriate group(s)
• Change "Metric Calculate Level" to by Component
• In the "Metrics to Include" choose metrics from the CPU folder

4. Save the changes
