Issue/Introduction

The antivirus tool marked the Gen Toolset.exe and sometimes other Gen .exe files as infected / containing malware.
Has this been reported before?

Resolution

It has been reported a couple of times, that a virus checker marked the Gen Toolset.exe file, a Gen Windows PTF .exe file, or a built Gen application *.exe file with the attribute “containing malware” or "infected". In all reported cases it turned out to be a false action / alarm.
  
It is suggested to send the appropriate .exe file to the vendor of the virus software and ask them to double check the qualification of this file.
