execTrigger not working

Issue/Introduction

We use execTrigger function to trigger the same application but the Event is only triggering unless we force complete the previous Application generations.
 

Environment

CA Workload automation DE (dSeries)

Cause

The Event is not triggering due to the application has "Do not trigger if active" option enabled in Application properties.

Resolution

Disable the "Do not trigger if active" in Application properties. Also, check if the option is enabled at Event level.
