How to stop the ncmservice process on the SpectroSERVER system so processd will not automatically restart it

Resolution

1. Log into the SpectroSERVER system as the user that owns the Spectrum installation

2. If on Windows, start a bash shell by running "bash -login"

3. cd to the $SPECROOT/bin directory

4. Enter the following command to stop the ncmservice:

./cmdC localhost 2 NCMSERV

5. Enter the following command to restart the ncmservice:

./launchinstdbapp localhost NCMSERV y NCMSERV.OUT
