Issue/Introduction

The Oracle Single Request jobs are failing with error like below, after updating Oracle EBS plugin to ALL 11.3 plus agents.
“Operating Unit is mandatory or required field for xxxxxxxxx”

Environment

CA Workload Automation Agent for Oracle E-Business Suite

Cause

The Oracle Single Request jobs require passing the Operating Unit from Oracle E-Business Suite plugin to 11.3 plus agents. The Operating Unit is also known as Org_Id or Multi-Org.

Resolution

You can specify the Operating Unit in the job definition if supported by the scheduler. Also, you can specify default value for Org Name in agent’s agentparm.txt;

oa.orgName.default=<Org_Name>

NOTE:

• The default value for the Org Name is only supported by the Agent for Oracle E-Business Suite 11.4.1. 
• The value of the parameter should not be surrounded in quotes.
• The value of the parameter is the full default organizational name. Contact your Oracle Applications Administrator for these details.
