Updated portlet still showing old behaviour

Issue/Introduction

I have recently updated a portlet for UMP but when I log into the portal I can still see the old, incorrect behaviour. What could be the problem here?

Environment

Any version of UMP

Resolution

Please check in your webapps folder (default <NIMROOT>/probes/service/wasp/webapps) if the folder for your updated portlet has been updated as well as the portlets war file. If not, please do the following:
- stop wasp
- rename the the webapps folder
- restart wasp

The folder for your webapp should have been recreated and contain the latest files. Please refresh your browser session to load the new version of the portlet and confirm that it is now showing the correct behaviour.
